Smoking Vaped Weed
Odds are if you are reading this, you probably are contemplating smoking vaped weed. With cannabis being illegal and expensive in so many places, who can blame you? Before deciding if that’s a good idea or not, let’s think about how a vaporizer works.
A vaporizer is designed to heat your cannabis at a lower temperature than a flame. Usually it will be slightly less than 400° F, whereas a lighter would produce a much higher temperature. The lower temperature is beneficial because it is just enough to get all the good stuff out of your bud without creating the sooty byproducts and pollutants. So after you use your vaporizer, you’re left with marijuana with most of the THC and cannabinoids removed. It’s going to be a lot less green than before the vaporization.
So what about smoking vaped weed? First of all, your weed won’t be nearly as potent after you vaporize it. Second of all, you’ll be inhaling all the stuff you were trying to avoid in the first place. Third of all, it will not taste good at all. The bottom line, however, is that you can smoke your weed after you vape it. It will eventually get you high, but will taste really bad and will pollute your lungs.
There are better alternatives to smoking vaped weed. You could make oils or use it in some edibles. You’re much better cooking with it than smoking it, but be very careful as it’s very easy to underestimate the power of vaporized marijuana. There may be a lot more left in it than you would ever think possible.
